Brief history and the existing academic scenario in Maharashtra

Current reality of 10th pass students shows 45% dropout rate of the stud ents fall under a vulnerable category, due to various reasons like wrong career, lack of skilling, lack of financial support and proper guidance.

Hence this program is specially designed to help these children to understand their true potential, develop their attitude, values & concepts, encourage and channelize their energy, Making them aware of the opportunities, and help them make right career choice at the end of their schooling year. Our Vision is to empower, equip and encourage our students to develop ambitious and meaningful career aspirations. To build, develop and nurture a self-awareness and exploration space to link passion and potential in students to make decisions towards ambitious and meaningful career aspirations.

We started the project with the firm belief that sustainable & progressive development of any student is a product of continuous process of interventions and interaction which involves “understanding them, sharing ideas, exploring minds, imbibe values and help them understand their dreams and pathways! It’s a journey which requires continuous partnership, mentoring and guidance and helping them grow healthy physically & emotionally. Psychological wellbeing includes the ability to solve the problems, make decisions, experience empathy be resilient and attentive. Social wellbeing means having good relationship with others and having no behavioural issues such as violence and destruction. It also means expression of creativity and power to communicate our emotions such as fear, joy, disgust, acceptance and our thoughts clearly.

So, our sessions were focused with the objective to make them understand themselves better, their strengths, passions, their responsibilities and able to communicate, express, and be a positive and healthy human being and part of the society. It would also be our focus to create advocacy and awareness between students, parents, teachers about Career goals, with the help of Aptitude testing and Career Counselling, equipped them to make the balance decisions about the future.
